Non-return valves with hydraulic release belong to the group of block valves. They block one or both hydraulic consumer lines or serve as a hydraulically actuated drain or vent valve.

The RH type non-return valve is tight without oil leakage when closed. It is available with decompression. A decompression suppresses the relaxation shocks that can occur when the pressure is high and the volume of the consumer is high.

Biodegradable hydraulic fluids: Observe the manufacturer's data. Not higher than + 70ºC if the compatibility of the joints is taken into account.

OPERATING MODE

No decompression

Non-decompression versions have a ball valve element, which releases the entire flow section upon unlocking. The valves are suitable for all the most common uses. A throttle point in the control connection attenuates the modulating movement of the unlocking piston, whereby normal pressure surges (decompression strokes) are sufficiently suppressed. This effect can be enhanced with additional throttle elements in the control tubing.

Applications

  • Maintain pressure: Protection of a pressurized cylinder chamber against loss of pressure due to a leak from the piloted manifold.
  • Securing suspended loads: Safe movement when pulling loads.
  • Return discharge: Handling larger flow rates for rapid cylinder movement and for protection against overloading of watertight solenoid valves.
