Throttle and shut-off valves belong to the group of flow valves. Thanks to them, a pressure difference can be generated between the inlet side and the outlet side. They make it possible to regulate the speed of the cylinders in accumulator circuits and the flow rate in control circuits or to completely block a consumer line (e.g. to protect a pressure gauge) .The throttle and shut-off valve type AV achieves the throttling effect thanks to an annular gap. It is available as a screw-in valve or a valve for in-line connection.
