PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Compact power plants belong to the group of hydraulic power plants. These stand out for having a very compact design, since the electric motor shaft is at the same time the pump shaft.
The KA and KAW compact ready-to-connect control unit contains an electric motor that runs in oil. The stator is firmly attached to the case (tank). The compact control unit is suitable for hydraulic systems with operating mode S2, S3 or S6. Heat is dissipated through surface convection, so an external cooler is usually not necessary.
In systems that are subjected to high stress, an external fan can optionally be mounted in the case, which allows additional heat dissipation. A separate motor drives the fan independently of the pump motor. type KA contains a three-phase motor, while type KAW has an alternating current motor. The KA and KAW compact control unit is available in a vertical or horizontal version. the tank can be expanded by modules so that different quantities of useful oil are possible. There is a choice between single-circuit or double-circuit systems. A radial piston pump or an external gear pump is used as the hydraulic pump.
The compact control unit of the type KA and KAW serves as a very compact system control, as it allows direct mounting of connection blocks and valve blocks.
