Used as agent for mould release in manufacture of rubbers and plastics, manufacture of boxes of cardboard and processed wood. Facilitates the sliding on conveyor belts and guides on the food industry.

Meets the list of requirements of regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 of the F. D. A. and is registered as an H1 in the NSF as a category of “incidental contact with food”.
