CKEDXAN Cartridge Valve

This valve is a pilot to open the check valve. It has a pilot seal, a steel seat, and is vented. It allows free flow from the valve (port 2) to the load (port 1) and blocks the flow in the opposite direction. The pressure in the pilot (port 3) opens the valve from port 1 to port 2. The pilot pressure required at port 3 to open the valve is directly proportional to the charging pressure at port 1. The pressure in the port 2, directly opposes the pressure pilot.

• For models with manual load control release option, turn load release clockwise to release load.
• This 3 port pilot-to-open check valve and 3 port counteract valves are physically interchangeable (ie, the same cavities, the same flow path for a given frame size). However, the cartridge and the extent of the mounting surface dimensions may vary.
• Provides hose break protection, prevents loads from drifting and positively locks pressurized loads.
• Extremely low leakage. The seat and valve are heat treated for long life. If the load is shifted due to the valve, the seat has probably been damaged by contamination and the valve should be replaced.
• Pilot sealed for use in circuits where cross port leakage is not desirable.
• Optional external porting of the hex end of the unit is available for outdoor piloting. In this configuration, port 3 is blocked. See the E and P Control options.
• Pilot-to-open check valve lock cartridges, not control valve movement. For motion control applications, the use of counterbalance valves.
• Corrosion resistant cartridge valves are intended for use in corrosive environments and are identified by the model code suffix / external AP for stainless steel components, or external / LH zinc-nickel coated components. • It incorporates the Floating Sun-style construction to minimize the possibility of internals joining due to excessive installation torque and / or cartridge cavity / machining variations.
